Notes: Chords and accents (where applicable) on top, note values on bottom
(see key below). Use a pretty heavy chorus effect throughout.
Intro: and Refrain - use light strumming; barely hit those
A chords
at the end of the first two measures. Let the open
E chord ring.
Verse - use pick-hand muting, but hit the highest note (
B ) sharply.
The "2T" indicates that it's easiest to fret the
Gb with your thumb.
The indicates that the open
A is used here only at the very
beginning of each Verse.
Chorus - use fret-hand muting by alternately releasing pressure on
the chord. The accents indicate when the chord sounds through (i.e.,
when it should be fretted).
Key:
|. = dotted quarter note
| = quarter note } = quarter rest
_| = single eighth note
|_| = eighth notes % = eighth rest
|=| = sixteenth notes
V = big accent v = moderate accent
